2. Hosting and server logs
This website is hosted by World4You Internet Services GmbH, Wolfgang-Pauli-Straße 2, BT3, 4020 Linz, Austria, on servers in Austria. When the website is accessed, the hosting provider processes technically necessary connection and log data, in particular the IP address, date and time, requested resource, referrer, browser type and operating system. This is necessary for the secure and stable provision of the website and is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. According to the hosting provider’s current information, log and temporary data are normally retained for a few days and for no longer than 60–90 days, depending on security and operational requirements.
3. Contact form
When you use the contact form, we process your name, email address, optional company name, subject and message. The purpose is to handle your enquiry and communicate with you. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry concerns pre-contractual steps or a contractual relationship; otherwise it is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on our legitimate interest in handling business enquiries. To prevent misuse, the form uses a locally generated calculation, an invisible honeypot field, a minimum completion time and server-side rate limiting. For this purpose, the technically necessary IP address may be processed briefly in hashed form and is discarded after no more than one hour. No external CAPTCHA provider is integrated.
4. Email service
Contact-form messages are forwarded through the mail function of the Austrian hosting provider World4You to the Microsoft 365 mailbox office@passo.at. Direct emails are processed using Microsoft 365. The provider is Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland. Microsoft is engaged as a processor. Where processing outside the European Economic Area occurs in an individual case, it is based on the appropriate safeguards provided by Microsoft, in particular Standard Contractual Clauses.
5. Retention period
Enquiries and related correspondence are deleted after they have been fully dealt with, as soon as no statutory retention, documentation or evidentiary obligations and no legitimate interests require continued storage. If an enquiry results in a contractual relationship, the statutory retention periods applicable to that relationship apply.
6. Cookies, device storage and external content
This website does not set cookies and uses neither Local Storage nor Session Storage. It uses no analytics, marketing or tracking services and does not load external fonts, maps, videos, social-media plug-ins or other third-party content. The initial language selection is made solely on the user’s device from the language setting supplied by the browser; it is not stored or transmitted to third parties. The local contact-form security check also uses no cookies and sends no data to an external CAPTCHA provider. No cookie or consent banner is therefore used.
7. Recipients
Where necessary for the purposes described above, recipients of personal data are World4You Internet Services GmbH as the hosting processor, Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited for the email service, and internally only those persons responsible for handling the enquiry. Data is disclosed beyond this only where required by law or where another appropriate legal basis exists.
8. Data subject rights
Subject to the applicable legal requirements, data subjects have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Requests may be sent to office@passo.at.
9. Right to lodge a complaint and version
